Orchid Journal does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. All data — orchid profiles, daily logs, and photos — is stored only on your device and is never sent to any server.
On Android, the app requests Location and Bluetooth permissions to support the optional phone-to-phone orchid transfer feature, which uses the device's Bluetooth hardware to transfer data directly to a nearby phone. Your location is never determined, logged, or shared. On iPhone, these permissions are not requested.
The app requests Camera permission to take photos for orchid log entries. Photos are stored only on your device.
The app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs that collect data of any kind.
